The Banjul Magistrate’s Court has ordered the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and the Attorney General (AG) to pay a total compensation of D925,000 to one Mohammed Lamin Komma, a complainant.

Mr. Komma had claimed for the recovery of the sum of D775,000 being damages of items missing from him by the IGP and the Attorney General (1st and 2nd defendants); cost of litigation and administration fees and further orders.

The plaintiff claimed that sometime in 2016, he had a problem with his landlady Neneh Baldeh and Yaya Bah, which was reported to the police.
